Rich Exchange is a web and mobile platform for buying and selling cryptocurrencies built for the Dominican market: peso deposits and withdrawals, identity verification and live market pricing.
The goal was not to compete with global exchanges, but to solve the part they do not cover: getting in and out in local currency without a detour.
// THE CHALLENGE
A local exchange lives or dies on two things: pesos moving in and out without friction, and the first-time user — who has never touched crypto — not being scared off. All of it without relaxing compliance or security.
// THE SOLUTION
I built the full platform, with:
- 01Integration with Dominican payment methods to deposit and withdraw in pesos.
- 02Fast identity verification without sacrificing compliance.
- 03A real-time price feed over websockets, with a resilient fallback.
- 04A multi-currency wallet showing peso and crypto balances in the same panel.
- 05A few-step swap flow, designed for someone who has never traded before.
