A decade in,
I still open the editor excited.

I started building websites and ended up leading teams. Along the way: client projects of every size, several personal products, and the firm belief that shipped code must be maintainable by someone else.

Today I split my time between leading as a tech lead and building sintaxia_ — my own platform for learning Python that takes errors seriously: as features.

Code others can maintain.

Brilliant code only you understand is debt with interest. I review thinking of whoever comes next — including the sleep-deprived version of me.

Juniors are seniors in beta.

Mentoring isn’t fixing PRs — it’s explaining the why until they no longer need me. A dev on my team no longer needing me is the KPI.

Ship > perfect.

Perfect but unshipped doesn’t exist. I’d rather iterate in production with metrics than debate in Figma with opinions. With a safety net, of course.
